nailed it.

Earlier this week I decided that I'm finally going to start trying to have cuter finger + toe nails. The above is what I've come up with so far. Really basic, but (in my opinion) really cute. I mean, it definitely beats the chippy paint // bitten nails I was donning before.
I think I'll have fun coming up with new ideas and finding inspiration.
Though I am slightly concerned that this is going to lead to a nail polish shopping habit...

So far (and it's only been a few days) having my nails done a fun way has prevented me from scraping off the polish or biting my nails. I'm pretty excited about that! If you too have this problem, maybe this could be your solution?

Do you like to do nail art, or do you keep it to one solid color?
Have any fun designs to share? Please do!

  1. Cute cute!!

I'm a solid kind of gal. Mainly because my polish chips away so quickly at work. It's a tragedy really! Do you have any suggestions on a tough nail polish? I need some heavy duty paint!

  4. I'm a big fan of the half moon style of nail art if you want to keep it easy/simple.
Paint all of the nail one color; let it dry.
Use a paper protector sticker thing (the round ones) and put it against your nail at just the bottom, so you get the nice rounded shape.
Paint the top half of your nail with the second color and let it dry.
Cover with a top coat and you'll be good!
