Operation Smile: How College Students Can Help.

Have you all heard of the charity organization, Operation Smile? They are an amazing medical charity that provides reconstructive surgeries to children who are born with facial deformities, like cleft clips + palates. A cleft can cause many problems such as: not being able to eat, speak, or smile, and as if that isn't enough, children with a cleft are often teased and tormented.

I think that what Operation Smile is doing is truly an incredible thing. If you think so too, I would encourage you to make a donation to their efforts! 

Or if you are a college student, I recently learned that with each book you rent through Campus Book Rentals, they make a donation to Operation Smile. In fact, they have pledged to donate enough this year to provide 1,000 life changing surgeries. 1,000! That makes my heart so, so happy.

And it's such a simple way to make a difference in the lives of so many children! Awesome. : )
