Husband-head ♡.

{i love him.}

Josh and I are probably the most different that any two people could ever be. Seriously. There are very, very few things that we both enjoy/like/love/whatever. But, we enjoy/like/love/whatever each other...and that's what is actually important. There is this quote that I read a long time ago, back at the beginning of our relationship, that I liked + thought was cute, because it reminded me of Josh.

"I like you, because you like me, and you don't like much."

It's just so very him.

Sometimes it is a little difficult, almost never being on the same page. And I know that for some people that would spell trouble, but sometimes our differences are a good thing for us, too. He is what I need, and I am what he needs. And I'll take the differences + tough times, gladly. Because I like him. Because I love him.

P.S. After I began this post, I realized how creepy this picture of him is...I mean, he's my cutie of a husband and all, but when I was writing this...he was just...staring at me. Creep.

  2. My boyfriend and I have nothing in common whatsoever. Even going to the cinema is a nightmare because we like completely different films. But it was our three year anniversary yesterday so it doesn't matter! x

  3. The hubs and I are night and day, which, I am convinced, makes us work. In fact, I read somewhere that opposites attract as a function of evolution; one is weak where the other is strong and vice versa.

  4. This makes me think of the DARLING book "I Like You" by Sandol Stoddard Warburg. Best, ever. I'm a new follower, because you blog is cute, and I like cute.

  6. My fiancé thinks we have everything in common but when you break down our interests they are fairly polar opposite but our values and thought processes are the same so we work! If I told him we have nothing in common he wouldn't get it, ha ha!

  7. My boyfriend and I were just talking about how we are complete opposites!!! Isn't it strange how relationships work well even when you have nothing in common? I'll definitely have to share that quote with my boyfriend!

  8. ha ha ha. I have some post catching up to do on your blog obviously. This was great! I don't think the pic is creepy but it's the story is funny! ha. :) So great. My hubs and I don't like all the same things either. He likes to play video games... I don't. He likes to play instruments (guitars)... I don't play an instrument. He likes sitcoms... I am very picky and often times will shun the thought of watching sitcoms... but I like that quote and I like your take on it. Great post! You two make a cute couple!

  9. Oh my. I found that quote a while back and actually made a picture out of it for my wall. I was so excited when I read your post that another couple out there is like my husband and I too.
