On Sunday afternoon, near my hometown, there was a terrible accident that left many injured, and four in critical condition. There was an 18 vehicle pile-up. The girl pictured above is one of the four seriously injured. I don't know her personally, but we have mutual friends, and I've been around her many times. It's always very...crazy...when something like this happens. I don't even really know this girl, and yet it's like this smack in the face, like "Hey! Guess what! This REALLY HAPPENS."
I'm not sure of the condition of the three other people that were badly hurt, or what exactly happened, but I know that this girl was badly injured after the car she was in wrecked, and while escaping the vehicle, she was hit by a diesel truck. Unreal.
So I'm reaching out to all of you lovely people, and sharing this with you, in the hopes that you will pray for these people involved and their friends and families. Send good thoughts, vibes, well wishes...Please!

I read the article. I can't believe that it is possible. The girl is like 3 years younger than me. I'll keep her in my thoughts and pray for her. The location of the accident is less than 3 hours away from me, and I saw where it said that some were sent to Memphis hospitals. Memphis is less than a mile from me. This truly breaks my heart.
