Bridal Shower!

This past Saturday my best friend and wonderful maid-of-honor, Leah, my friend, Hannah, and my mom threw me the best bridal shower a girl could ask for. There were so many yummy desserts--carrot cake, red velvet cake, yellow cake, white cake, chocolate fountain with fruit and marshmallows--courtesy of my mom.
Hannah and Leah brought so many wonderful dishes--sandwiches, pinwheels, fruits and vegetables with dips. Basically there was anything and everything one could ask for.
They worked super hard on it and that was evident. Leah even made me a special chair to sit in and a giant goblet (beautiful and amusing) to drink from.

(me, josh's mom-robin, and josh's sister-kristen.)
-no idea what's going on with my hair.-

It was so good to spend time with my girls, especially Megan and Hannah, who I never see. I have no idea why we never spend time together, but we made a promise to each other to change this after Saturday night.
I need to pack in as much time with them as possible before the wedding, since moving day is only two days after that. We don't have much time, ladies! :(

(the totally incredible goblet leah designed for me.)

(me and leah.)

We played two games. One where we had to make as many words out of mine and Josh's names as we could, whoever got the most won. (I can't remember the winner.)
And another game where I had to answer 20 questions about Josh, and for each one that I got incorrect I had to chew a piece of bubble gum. I ended up getting five wrong, but they were totally unjust! And I took notes down to discuss with Josh after it was over. :)
After that game, Megan shoved five more pieces put together in my mouth. God love her.
So 10 pieces total! Way more difficult and painful than it sounds.

(leels.)

This was such a fun night and I loved spending time with so many lovely ladies. It was a night filled with laughter, love, and "that's-what-she-saids." Who could ask for more?

(i'm adding more pictures later.)
