01. Josh and I went to see "Scream" at a local theater for date night. It's one of our favorites, and it was fun to actually experience it "at the movies." I will admit that I checked over my shoulder a couple of times to make sure that no one was lurking in the shadows, dressed in the infamous killer costume. But, shh...
02. I made the two best cups of coffee I've ever made in my life. I think it was because I put the cream and sugar in first, then the coffee. So good.
03. My almost 14 year old sister and I had a really special bonding moment via Facebook. She asked me, "Do you like having me as a sister?" It melted my heart and made me cry just a bit. We had a little talk, and I think we both feel as if we have a good friend in the other.
04. I've been staying up/waking up at 6am every weekday to watch "Boy Meets World" the college years. Tomorrow is the series finale, so I'll be welcoming the extra sleep I'll be getting with open arms.
05. I am now officially registered to begin my schooling on November 15 (two weeks!) at The System-Paul Mitchell. I am so excited. I can hardly wait! I have my orientation next Monday. I'm sure I'll be quite nervous, but I'm really happy to be meeting new people, making friends, and starting this wonderful new chapter in my life.
xo.
By the way, this style of post is something I used to do on my old, old Myspace and Xanga when I was younger. I used to be super obsessed with Sarah Morrison (and the whole Cobrasnake, NY/LA party scene, but that's another story for another day.) and she used to do this thing called "Best Week Ever" where she would take random bits of her life from the past week and share. Am I copying? Basically. But I can talk about my life if I want, so...And I can't even think of a better title. Whatever. I'd like to do this post on Sundays, so I'll transition to that next week! But I think this is something I'd really like to start doing again. And hopefully from now on they'll be more interesting. : )
Oh, also, I added a formspring thing to the blog. If you haven't seen it. So, feel free to ask away!
