a rough couple of days.

The past few days have been some pretty rough ones. Heartbreaking, even. Josh and I ended up giving Miloh away. This was a really hard decision, but one that we knew was ultimately the best for Miloh and us, even if it hurt. There are a multitude of reasons why we did, but my heart is completely broken over this. We've decided that we're not going to have another dog for a long time. At least not until we're in a more suitable living space and a little more settled down. I'm happy to say that he did go to a seemingly great family, though. They have a farm, another australian shepherd, a blue heeler, and four kids to love on him. So we're happy about that!

Also, I'm sick. At times I feel like I might possibly be on my death bed, and at others I'm upbeat and basically fine. It's just a really bad head cold, but I'm hoping it will pass soon. I have things to do! Like:

1. Get back to the gym. I've been going to the gym in our apartment complex and I really love it. It's very small, and there's never anyone in there. So it's almost like my own personal gym.

2. Begin Home-Ec. Yes, it's true...I still haven't started. I still have a few more supplies to get before I can begin.

3. Clean and organize our apartment. Despite having lived here for awhile now, I've still never actually put our clothes away or anything. Oops! :) But I've promised myself that once I'm feeling better, that will be at the top of my list!

I hope everyone else is having better days!
xo.

  2. Lydia, I'm so sorry about your puppy. I had to give away my cats when I was little because my brother was allergic.
I really hope you get better soon.

  3. Aww I'm so sorry! We just recently had to give up a dog we rescued and it was awful, even though we only had it for 2 days. That's always so hard to do but at least he's going to a good home.

Also, feel better soon! Head colds are the worst in my opinion!

P.S. I'm glad you haven't started your Home Ec projects because it means I'm not the only one...
